Mr. David “Brent” Carmicle
September 22, 1956 - August 3, 2020
David “Brent” Carmicle came into this world on September 22nd, 1956 and departed on August 3rd, 2020. Brent was born in Danville, Kentucky to Fred and Blanche Carmicle. His family moved to Cocoa, Florida, where he went to grade school and graduated from Cocoa High School in 1974. He married his wife Linda Romprey in 1985 who blessed him with his first child Ashley in 1989 and second child, Corey in 1991. Brent grew to love upholstery just as his own father did, working for shops around the area until he became a shop owner himself of “Carmicle Auto Upholstery.” He was well known for his professional work on classic cars throughout the years that entered car shows. From camouflage truck seats to a Luis Vuitton vinyl top on a Cadillac, he was well known for his sewing trade. Brent loved to camp with friends and family to the springs every summer. He became a grandfather “Pa Pa” to his first granddaughter, Audrey Nichole Carmicle in 2012, second granddaughter, Nova Rose Carpenter in 2016 and his only grandson, David Clayton Carpenter in 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday August 14th at 11am located at First Baptist Church of Port St. John.
