Mrs. Julia Ann Theel Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Julia Ann Theel (Glass) 10-17-1933 — 06-25-2022 Ann, as she liked to be called, grew up in Miami Florida. Hialeah, specifically. She attended Miami Edison Senior high school, and worked at the Essex Movie Theatre. After graduation, She was hired by Eastern Airlines to work in their printing department, but when the airline went under, she worked at other print shops. She loved bindery work and was a stickler for detail. She eventually met and married the love of her life, Norman Theel. They had a son and along with her two daughters created a loving family. They moved to Minnesota in 1977, where Ann learned that she loved the snow, and the changing of leaves in the fall. She loved snowball fights and would laugh when she surprised us with a Bullseye! She absolutely loved decorating for the holidays and would always get into the spirit! She loved to bake cakes for friends and co-workers on their birthdays and was always ready to play games and to have fun. She was preceded in death by her first daughter, Judith Ann, her grand-niece Riley Anne Murphy, her mother, Mary Louise Glass, her father, Richard Sherman Glass, her grandparents and other family members. She is survived by her loving husband, Norman Theel, her daughters Shirley De la Torre, Jeanette Roberts (Michael), her son, Kenneth Theel, and her granddaughter Marina Roberts. Also, her sisters, Susan Wallace (Pete) and Pam Kennedy (John), and her brother, Allan Glass, as well as nieces, nephews and other treasured family members. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
