Mr. William M. Young II

February 29, 1944 - January 13, 2017

William M. Young II, 72, of Port St John, FL joined his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 13, 2017 while in the care of Wuesthoff Hospice House in Rockledge, FL. Visitation will be Sunday, January 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Cocoa First Assembly of God Church, located at 3757 North U.S. Hwy 1. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Wild Bill, as he was known, was born February 29,1944 to Milford and Helen (Fausey) Young in Williamsport, PA. He was united in marriage to Diana Casella on March 6, 1966 and celebrated 50 years of marriage last March. Bill served his country for six years in the Army National Guard as an administrative specialist. He went on to have a successful career in the life insurance business, and after retirement continued to work at Patrick Air Force Base and NASA as a government contractor. Bill was an active member of Cocoa First Assembly of God Church. He reflected God’s love for people by taking people into his home when they needed a place to stay. He was generous, encouraging, forgiving and a friend to all. He genuinely did his best to live by the Lord's command to love God and love others. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Diana; his sister, Joann White; his three sons, Darren (Dawn) Young of Ferguson, IA, Brent Young of Chicago, IL and Jonathan Young of Knoxville, TN; and his four grandchildren, Hannah, Jaryd, Noah and Karissa, along with many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Earl White. Memorial donations can be directed to the Young family.
