Mrs. Cheryl Bryan
July 4, 1944 - June 30, 2018
Cheryl Jean Farrar Bryan, 73, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2018. She was born in West Virginia on July 4, 1944. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roy Edward Bryan. Cheryl will be remembered for her infectious laugh, hilarious sense of humor, and the positive way she approached life. She made us all feel so special and so loved. Thinking about her always brings a smile. Cheryl loved spending time with all her family celebrating holidays and family events. Among her favorites were Christmas, July 4th, and Halloween. She enjoyed singing to the oldies, collecting fun odds and ends, gardening, and so many other things. She loved football and was a hardcore Pittsburgh Steelers fan! Relaxation time was sitting on her back porch every day, watching the birds, enjoying her flowers, playing with her dogs, and sharing memories over coffee with Roy. Cheryl has touched all our lives unlike any other. We will always remember her because she filled our hearts with love. “She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.” She is also survived by her daughters: Ruth (Eddie) Gillenwater, and Amy (Phil) Wiedenhoeft. Grandchildren: Holli (Dave) Shono, Noel (Eric) DeGroot, Bryan Gillenwater, Clinton (Gabby) Gillenwater, and Jessica Gillenwater. Great-Grandchildren: Jace DeGroot, Charlotte Shono, and Aurora Rush. A celebration of life will be held on July 14th from 9am-noon at the Cocoa-Rockledge Garden club. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association https://act.alz.org/site/Donation2?df_id=32112&32112.donation=form1
