Mr. Angelo Peter Perri

ANGELO PETER PERRI, 27 years old, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 3:16 p.m. in his home in Daytona Beach, Florida. His mother, Michele D. Guerin Bump and her husband Michael Wayne Bump were at his side to release him into the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ at the time of his death. Angelo fought a long and arduous battle with melanoma cancer throughout the last eighteen months until he was finally called home to his eternal reward. His family, especially his sister Victoria Grace Bump, 17, provided enormous and meaningful support to Angelo during the difficult months of his illness. Angelo was born in Key West, Florida on November 25, 1997. His father is Peter Perri. Angelo grew up in Cocoa, Florida with his parents Michael and Michele Guerin Bump along with his younger sister, Victoria Grace Bump. He graduated from Space Coast High School with honors in math and the sciences. In 2017, Angelo enlisted in the United States Air Force and underwent training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Upon completion of basic training, he was assigned to Vandenberg Air Force Base in California as a member of the Air Force Base Security Squadron for advanced security training. He was later transferred to an Air Force transport base in Ohio. Angelo earned several commendations for his service and security skills and was promoted to Sergeant. While serving in the U.S. Air Force, he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree and completed his FAA Certification as a drone pilot. Angelo will be remembered as a proud Veteran who loved his country, and was honored to have served nobly in the United States Air Force for eight years. He was a cherished friend of numerous Air Force buddies who remained in faithful contact with him with words of encouragement throughout his lengthy illness. His family, though, will always miss the presence of this wonderful, entertaining, adventurous and independent young man who brought so much joy and happiness into their lives. Angelo is survived by his parents, Michael and Michele Guerin Bump; his sister Victoria Grace Bump; his maternal grandparents David (aka "GP") Wilson and his spouse Marie Belanger of Deland, Florida; his grandfather Leonard Anthony Guerin of Blue Ridge, Georgia; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Guerin family, the Bump family, the Perri family, and the Belanger family from Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan Massachusetts, Georgia, Florida, New Hampshire and Arizona. A committal service honoring Angelo as a U.S. Veteran will be held on Thursday June, 26 at 2:30PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL.
